What smells so good?

Just made these toffee squares

and boy does it smell good in here.  I topped them with skor bits rather than chopped pecans as the kiddies aren't fond of nuts.  Yummo.

I also have a roast in the oven with a package of onion soup mix and the jury's still out on what will accompany this for supper. 

Funny now that there is at least a foot of snow on the ground to think that I actually worked up a couple of flower beds this week.  My tulips are (were?) all at least 6 inches out of the ground and a good number of my perennials were up too.  I put all my moon rays out and was thinking of getting Scott to till the garden.  ARGH.  I am so done with winter.
