10 by 30

Last years plans to achieve this list did not go quite as expected, so I have revived it and plan to have another go.


1. Run 5km.
2. Make a curry dish from scratch.
3. Watch all of the Godfather movies.
4. Attain my goal weight ( Be healthy and strong)
5. Simplify my wardrobe and give away everything I no longer wear
6. Try to eat fresh, healthy foods (And grow them in our garden if possible)
7. Take a family trip
8. Purchase an apron
9. Go on a picnic
10. Buy and wear skinny jeans

I have already done a few of these things as you can see but I have a few left to do. 

I just finished #5.  I had tubs and tubs of clothes in the basement.  Admittedly I have not lost all of my baby weight yet, and some may think ( including hubby) that it was too early to go through my clothes, but once I got going I realized that some things were 5-10 years old.  Pants were too short waisted for my new body, shorts too short, and styles that I will never wear again.  So four over sized garbage bags went out this past weekend.  How liberating.  Now I can start to rebuild my wardrobe once I get back in shape!

I purchase my apron last summer in Minneapolis and it is yellow and bright and I love it.  Someday when I am feeling decent for the camera I will snap some photographic evidence for the blog.

The skinny jeans, I have bought and wore once before I got pregnant but they have remained in my closet and will be worn again. 

#1 - I registered yesterday for the 5K run and will start training, although likely inside on the bike to get started, next week. 

There it is.  I will keep you posted on my progress.
