The ups and downs of pregnancy

So for all of you who may think that being preggers is all fun and games well let me tell you... despite the feelings of excitement when you hear the heartbeat for the first time there are a lot of downers as well.
#1 - Sore boobs - man I tell you, I haven't been able to sleep without a bra for months! Joy. Oh and don't walk too fast cuz that little bit of bounce - hurts like a mo-fo.
#2 - Being emotional - Grey's Anatomy last night - cried like a baby. For those of you who don't watch - it involved a lady who was 7 months pregnant and in an accident. So sad.
#3 - Doctors, doctors, and more doctors.
#4 - Being weighed every month by said doctors. ( The good thing is that they are happy that you've gained weight)
#5 - Being informed by both sides of the family that we indeed have twins that run in the family. Oh and by the way it was supposed to be their generation but never happened so it likely could be us.
#6 - Arguing with husband that the name Caesar is in fact not a good name for a little boy.
#7 - Not having any energy to do anything extra other than get out of bed, work, eat, sleep.

But in all honestly it is nice to have an excuse for wanting to eat cheese and icecream at 10 at night. Oh... and not pass on that extra piece of cake for dessert.

I wonder if your boobs can get sore if you don't have any?

Ah, well. In 10 years when a baby seems like a good idea, I'll let y'all know. And I figure by then yours should be old enough to babysit. :)

Famous last words.....
I can picture you now... You'll be one of those nazi moms that sends out handmade invitations to theme birthday parties and decorates her house for every fucking little holiday.

That hurts me. Because I just finished making a Halloween-themed quilted table runner.

You don't need kids to decorate for every little holiday...

:)

Oops, this was clearly a discussion only for the ladies.
