A small poll if you will...

To all of you cooks out there....

Scott has been doing the majority of the cooking lately as I mentioned in a previous post. This has been wonderful. It is so awesome to come home to the smell of supper cooking.
Last night, however, he was creating a beef stirfry. I say creating because he put cucumbers in it.

So, my question is this:

Is it normal to put cucumbers in a stirfry??

Normal for normal people, or normal for you two? :)

I dunno. Cooked cucumbers aren't probably something I could get too excited about. Maybe raw and tossed it at the end?

Yes, please define "normal"...

I have never added to a stirfry, but I do like cucumbers...

How did it taste?

haha, I was going to say the same thing about the tossing them in at the end...

While our attention is in the kitchen (instead of the gutter) let me suggest a tasty treat that may not be new to some or any: Fry up some zucchini (f**K try to spell it first) anyway, some zucchini, a little onion, and mushrooms, toss on some grated cheddar or marble cheese (garlic marble if you're close to a Safeway) and serve it as a novetly side dish or toss some cooked ground beef on with some pasta sauce and let the whole thing totally rule a plate of spaghetti. Yes rule, not ruin.
